David the MD heads up the team with a Masters Degree in objects conservation and over 20 years of conservation and restoration experience:



David was Awarded an HND Distinction in 1999, during that time he completed a work placement in the conservation studio at Burghley House (Stamford), with which the company still has a strong connection.


After several more years conserving antique furniture David returned to study at West Dean College; where he was awarded a ​Graduate Diploma and was a BADA Geoffrey Moss prize winner, the following year David was awarded a Post-Graduate Diploma – (Distinction), was a BADA scholarship winner and was a John Morris prize winner and was Awarded a Masters degree (conservation studies) in 2009  by the University of Sussex.

Since then David has been running private conservation practice along with other colleagues servicing private clients including important furniture for several large country houses, antiques for a number of titled clients and clocks and furniture for several prestigious BADA and LAPADA trade clients.

The Business now includes the considerable expertise of Mitchell Dowlen (HN Dip - West Dean) as our horologist. Belinda Hager (HN Dip - West Dean, MA University of Sussex) as our metals conservator and several other highly qualified conservators that are available as required.
